Travel: Cottage At The Ridge
The moment we landed in Nashville, it stole a piece of our hearts immediately. It was such a serendipitous trip, that we had to share with you some of the most memorable fall highlights.
To begin, this was a trip for a fabulous client and friend of mine that turned into an adventure of a lifetime. Our client, who is building her dream home just outside of Franklin, Tennessee, is a connector and a beautiful human being inside and out. Our worlds collided when it turns out the owner, singer/songwriter of the Cottage At The Ridge was my clients/client (she owns a PR agency), as well as close friend. Talk about small world! We brought Justyn along as well, and wow. It was one of the most special trips, we can’t wait to go back!
Cottage at the Ridge has such a special place in our hearts, as we connected with the talented singer/songwriter and his beautiful wife during the pandemic to help them finalize some design details, on what was already a picture-perfect design. Being able to stay here in person, we can see why it’s a songwriters cottage, it’s so inspiring and peaceful.
In the mornings we would have our coffee watching the sunrise, run the big hill a couple times, do a pond dip (apparently I’m crazy for doing this!), pack up and head into Spring Hill to explore. Every corner of this magical place is picture perfect, and I’m pretty sure if we didn’t think we were country before, we sure are now.
We wanted to share this special place with all of you, it’s only 40 minutes from Nashville and truly a dream come true!
This was only part of the magic of Tennessee, but really such a memorable and peaceful escape. We highly recommend, if you’re looking for a place to relax. We even did a drive into Nashville to check out the Grand Ole Opry (a story for another time!), and it was such a breeze in terms of distance.
I also need to give a big round of applause to my super talented boyfriend, Justyn, who snapped all of these photos. This was one of our first trips together and it was so inspiring to see the world through his lens.
